Let's begin.

Welcome ladies to your Senior Year, our tech class and your class blog. This is your last year in high school! This is an exciting time for you as you begin your final push up the ladder of success. This is also a good time to set some goals. Challenge yourself to reach a little higher and explore subjects that you wish to rather than be told what subjects are important. So consider these questions for our first blog post and for yourself on this journey (because it is a journey you are on) are:
  1. Why am I here?
  2. Where do I want to be next year? In 3 years? In 10 years?
It is your future that you are working towards. What do you think the future has in store for you?

  2. I have a four year old dog named milo. He likes to run a lot. He likes wearing his red collar. He is very aggressive when you walk him. I got him for free from my neighbor. Now, I know why.

  5. I want to be in this class because I want to learn how to do computer coding. In this day and age technology is one of the components in getting into almost any career. Now, i don't know if i will do computer science in the furtue but I would like to scratch the surface of and be prepared.

  6. I am here to expand my knowledge on computers. In the future I would like to study computer engineering but I don't think I will set that as a career though. Next year I would like to be able to know about both the software and hardware of a computer. I would also like to know how to program a computer. In three years I would still be studying computers and hopefully be able to put one together. In ten years I would be a super nerd. In the future I would like to work in a company where I can be able to program computers or even open a business dealing with computers.

    1. Nice Abigail. Most college majors now require some sort of technology class. Whether it be programming or basic computer understanding. It has been said there will be two kinds of people in the future. Those who tell the computer what to do and those that are told by a computer what to do. The former will be paid much more than the latter.

  7. I am in this class because I want to further expand my knowledge in the field of computers. I plan on becoming a criminologist in the future. Yes I want to investigate scenes of crimes and all that interesting stuff but, I also want to be the one who is able to decode anything and everything. I want to be able to just type certain information into a computer and crack all the secrets. Although this job may not require much computer background knowledge, I still want to have a little information under my belt to assist me along the way.
